Charge Dissipating Materials

The incorporation of nanomaterials in surface coatings or composites can provide electrical charge dissipation without significantly effecting optical clarity, gloss, color or physical properties. In our electronic age, the effective dissipation of static charge is becoming increasingly important. The incorporation of NanoTek^® ATO or ITO products in coating systems, films or composites may help in reducing the buildup of static charge, which can lead to destructive discharges that can harm electronic components or, in hazardous operations, may act as an ignition source. In addition, NanoTek^® ITO may also be used in films used to produce conductive display screens, such as for interactive touch screens, eliminating the need to use expensive sputtering technologies.
